South Brent Community Champion Award

Attached is a photograph of the nominees and winner of the Award, with Cllr Glyn Richards.
Graham Jordan runs the Inter Parish Quiz, is famous for his quizzes and for hosting the Village Hall Show for many years.
Anne Nicholls was nominated for all her efforts with the Recreation Association and at Palstone Park, particularly sourcing funding and working with young people.
Phillip Ward-Green has been involved with the South Brent Action and Community Group for 25 years, and Chairman for 10 years.
Jane Wellens has organised ‘Villages in Action’ events for some years as well as regular ‘Breakfast Cafes’ and other cultural and fund raising projects.
The winner was Anne Nicholls of South Brent Recreation Association, shown here at the Annual Parish Meeting last month where the Award was presented.
