New Councillor co-opted onto South Brent Parish Council
South Brent Parish Council was delighted that there were three applicants for a vacancy for the office of Councillor, and Jane Maunder has been co-opted onto the Council.
Jane has lived in South Brent since 1994, has two daughters – one at the local primary school and the other attending Ivybridge Community College. For the past four years Jane has thoroughly enjoyed running the South Brent Brownies and is a member of the Girl Guiding Association.
After the co-option, Jane explained that she is looking forward to all aspects of the work of the Council, and wants to be a voice for local people in South Brent – to listen and hopefully help resolve any issues.
Jane works locally at Wakeleys DIY and Garden Supplies and stated “I am passionate about our thriving community which has so much to offer”.
